Specialist Schemes Manager
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially-wise individual to manage our specialist motor schemes and lead the expansion of our motor product portfolio. This is a key strategic role, responsible for identifying, developing and managing new products to drive growth across both personal and commercial lines.
You’ll work closely with with our underwriting team to shape propositions to meet market needs while upholding our standards of broking excellence.
What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the development and performance of specialist motor schemes.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to expand our presence within targeted segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, partners, and key stakeholders to foster long-term growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, operations, compliance, and marketing teams to deliver successful schemes from inception to launch.---- Oversee onboarding processes for new partners and schemes, ensuring a seamless and compliant integration experience.
- Monitor and report on scheme performance, providing insight and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
0 Champion Consumer Duty principles and ensure all activities align with FCA regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks.
What you'll need to succeed
We believe the following attributes will help you thrive in this role:
- At least 24 months motor insurance experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple schemes simultaneously, ensuring performance targets and compliance standards are met.
- Be able to manage marketing spends, with the ability to optimise these over time to maximise profitability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients.
- A proactive problem-solver, dedicated to addressing client needs and concerns effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver optimal outcomes for both our customers and the business.
- An understanding on compliance reqiurements including Consumer Duty.
